Mother's Day Weekend

Grandma & GG came up for Mother's Day weekend. We played on the deck and went on a home tour - in shifts - Otto was below the age limit and above the crazy limit.

Otto got a Pooh Bubbling tricycle from the neighbor's garage sale. Conclusion: bubbles taste like soap!

This is why the swing took so long to hang up...that is a 32' ladder.
But it was worth it...
I guess we forgot to put my generation in this one...

Feedin' Time

I am learning to feed myself. Who knew eating could be so exhausting...and painful. Turkey and vegetables in the eyes, not so good!

Otto was hanging out with his buddy Liam. Despite being half his age Liam is actually a bit bigger than Otto. This size difference is most evident in the photo where Otto is trying to see what Liam is made of!!!

The Beginning

We've got a baby down!
It is weird how much he is beginning to look like me!

This is our first attempt at a blog in order to dole out info in a more regular fashion. It is thursday before Memorial day weekend. We have a busy weekend of events scheduled with most of it centered around catching up on all the Spring cleaning and yard work before Summer. Otto loves being outside and it is a constant battle to get more food in his mouth than on the rest of him! He has been battling and ear infection for a while now and we should find out tomorrow if he has finally kicked it...
We are starting a garden so Otto can know where food comes from and he may also gt his first trip to the dog park (in the backpack) this weekend.

Not only does he like dogs but he drools like one to!
